Security

Our website uses industry-standard information security technologies such as firewalls, access control procedures, and cryptographic mechanisms, all aimed at preventing unauthorized access to data and its possible theft. To achieve this, the user/customer agrees that the provider may obtain data for the purpose of authentication of access controls.

We offer 100% secure payment

At sisebutodivision.es we guarantee that every transaction made is 100% secure.

All purchases made on our website are backed by Banco Santander’s secure server, so your data is protected and encrypted with the most advanced technology, making it much safer to send your data to a bank's Secure Server than to pay at a gas station, restaurant, etc.

What happens when I send my data over the internet?

When you make a purchase and choose the payment method, clicking the Credit Card Payment button connects you to the Secure Server. From that moment, you browse in a secure area and enter your bank details on the bank’s Secure Server, which ensures that the operation meets security standards and processes it. After confirmation, you are redirected back to the store.

Could someone know the encryption key?

Every time a user connects to a Secure Server, it generates a random session key, while the client’s browser generates another random key to identify itself to the server.

If, at the moment a secure connection is established, other users connect to the server, new keys are generated to identify each participant.

The Secure Server ensures that the generated keys never match during simultaneous connections.

How do I know a secure connection has been established?

You can know if you are connected to a Secure Server if the URL starts with “https://”. Additionally, most browsers indicate this visually, such as a yellow closed padlock in Internet Explorer.

What security protocol is used in transmissions?

Our Secure Server connections use the latest specifications of the standard internet security protocol: SSL.

3D Secure

Banco Santander’s gateway supports the new secure payment protocols introduced by Visa and Mastercard.

3D Secure is the most secure payment system by credit card because it can authenticate the cardholder. It ensures that the customer using the card number is the legitimate holder. This is done through a secret key provided by your bank, which only you know. In most cases, this key can be requested online. For more information, visit your bank’s website or contact them directly.

Very Important

Our website only accepts credit cards that are secured (3D Secure), so you will need a special key to purchase online, which must be provided by your card’s issuing bank. Make sure to request the virtual 3D Secure key. We recommend using this 3D Secure system, which ensures that only you can make purchases with the card, making fraudulent use on the internet impossible and guaranteeing total security of the transactions.

How do we protect your credit card payment?

sisebutodivision.es uses a server based on one of the most reliable secure payment systems on the internet: the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. (For more information, visit www.ssl.com).

All your personal data and information you send to us travels encrypted across the network and is protected and encoded before being sent for processing.

Only CES (Secure Electronic Commerce) transactions will be accepted for Visa and Mastercard payments. After verifying the card is part of the CES system, the system will contact the issuing bank for the buyer to authorize the purchase. If the bank confirms authenticity, the charge will be made. Otherwise, the order will be canceled.

The payment gateway we use for credit card payments is Banco Santander’s, which encrypts your data using the 256-bit SSL protocol. Our system does not store any of your credit card information; it is sent directly to the bank’s Ecommerce POS (Point of Sale Terminal).

What is SSL?

The latest advances in browser and server technology have made it possible to use web services without concerns about electronic fraud. One example is Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), developed by Netscape, a security protocol submitted to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as an Internet Draft. Essentially, the protocol allows the browser and web server to authenticate each other and protect the information that will flow between them. Through cryptographic techniques like encryption and digital signatures, the protocol:

■ Allows browsers and web servers to authenticate each other.
■ Allows website owners to control access to specific servers, directories, files, or services.

■ Allows confidential information (such as credit card numbers) to be shared between the browser and server, keeping it inaccessible to third parties.

■ Ensures that data exchanged between the browser and server cannot be corrupted, either accidentally or deliberately, without detection.
